We stayed in a family executive room and it was spacious, with sofas. The location was close to the national express coach station, super convenient. The standard of accommodation was beyond what we expected from a budget hotel. Definitely a pleasant surprise!

would definitely go back
The double room en suite was comfy and warm. It had a tv and an electric kettle for tea or coffee, perfect after a long day exploring. The staff were super friendly and helped with any requests. Located close to metro and city center. The breakfast was decent with good variety.

Tidy and excellent place with brilliantly helpful staff at all times. Quiet and handy location close enough to Newcastle for food and town centre and Newcastle. Also, close to train station.

The hotel layout is confusing!!! The bathrooms weren't consistently clean, and the walls need a serious scrub. Sound insulation is terrible, so expect to be woken by loud guests at all hours!!!

We appreciated spending 3 nights here. Came in Newcastle upon Tyne to relax and have fun, this low budget hotel was right place for doing it. Its location in Newcastle upon Tyne was quiet and handy, next to train station, and particular ports or domains.

The Express had lovely clean rooms, and the staff were as cute as family at a holiday gathering. The accessibility features like handrails were quite reassuring for a senior woman like myself.
More comfortable seating in common areas would help.

We had a lovely family stay, enjoying the nearby outlet shopping and exploring Newcastle. The hotel was clean and well-located, with friendly staff. Plus, they were accommodating to our small dog.
In my kids' opinion, it would be great if there were more family-friendly activities in the hotel.

The family room offered ample space and was conveniently located just a short drive from the city center. Noise levels from the main road were disruptive, and the bathroom window lock was broken, raising safety concerns. Despite the comfortable setup, the overall cleanliness did not meet expectations, with hairs and crumbs found on the bed sheets.
